Port Region Perception Survey

The purpose of this survey is to hear your opinions on topics that impact the livelihood of the Port Region.  It asks you questions about the petrochemical industry, community image, workforce, infrastructure, and air quality. Your input will help our civic leaders make decisions regarding our economic future.

This survey is sponsored by the Economic Alliance, an economic development organization that represents the Houston Port Region, which is a group of 15 communities located in Harris County.  Communities located in the Port Region include, but are not limited to:  Baytown, Channelview, Deer Park, East End, Ellington South-Belt, Galena Park, Jacinto City, La Porte, Morgan’s Point, North Shore, Pasadena, Pearland, Seabrook, Sheldon, and Shoreacres.  Communities in three other industrial counties (Chambers, Galveston, Brazoria) are also invited to participate by their economic development organizations.

The survey is part of a two-year, Small Business Administration (SBA)-funded study that examines economic and quality of life issues impacting the region’s growth and image.

We thank you in advance for your time!  The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.  Your individual response will remain anonymous and will be aggregated with others to form our final analysis.  This survey is of critical importance, and we encourage you to invite your friends, family members, and co-workers to participate.
